Hi All -- I've been working with Matthew Minkin, a realtor at RS Garek
Associates, on understanding a little better what our coworking needs
might be for a space, and what general areas (or specific locations)
in town might suit our needs.
Tomorrow, I'll be fetching a stack (hardcopy) of property sheets that
Matt's suggested--about 10 properties--and I thought I'd scan those and
post PDFs to the group for everyone to look at. The goal is to
eliminate any obviously unsuitable properties, and maybe start to form
a preference for 3 or 4 of the remaining ones.
Then on Friday, December 14th, we'll be visiting some of the
properties! Right now, the time is scheduled for 9:30-11:30am. I'd
like to bring along some folks... my thinking was to limit the group-
size somewhat (hopefully to what we can reasonably fit in one car) but
- if interest is high - I can check with Matt to see if that's okay,
too.
So, please respond to me or to the group if you'll be available that
day and would like to come along. I don't think we'll be picking a
location that day necessarily, but Matt is being kind enough to show
us around some properties to get a feel for what kind of space it is
that we're looking for. (And, of course, since we don't exactly know
that to a certainty yet, some field trips like this will be extremely
helpful, I would think. ;-)

Hi All - Just a quick update. I received some property sheets from
Matt on Friday and only had time over the weekend to glance at them,
but there's a pretty good mix in there. Most are located along Main
Street (Market Exchange District) or High Street, close to Brewery
District. I'm traveling this week, so I'm at a bit of a disadvantage,
technology-wise, but I'll try to get the sheets scanned and posted
this coming weekend, so folks can comment or ask questions.
I'd still like to go ahead with the site visits on Friday the 14th,
though if enough people chime in that some other day would work better
for them, I would certainly listen to that feedback :-)
Argh -- I just heard from Matt, and unfortunately, we'll have to
reschedule the Friday visits to 'early next week' (I'm working out a
good day with him.) So -- to those of you who've responded, thanks! and
I hope you've got some flexibility. I'll post when I know more.
