I have two positions open for technical types! These are full-time
permanent positions, but if the most-qualified candidate is a student
graduating in December I can work with part-time until graduation.
The first is for someone to help with things like:
- Provide an interface between our employees and the IT contractor when
things get tricky.
- Manage the IT contractor and other vendors on technical projects.
- Help with lots of crazy technical projects that we're always getting
ourselves into (designing our own mobile security rigs, GPS trackers, et
cetera).
- Help construction staff when it comes to IT-related issues like
networking and other low-voltage wiring.
- And so on...
The second is more of a straight-up programming position. I'd like to have
someone proficient with the LAMP/JS stack, and ideally a decent amount of
C++ experience. Most of what we're doing at the moment is AJAXy
business-logic stuff but we're likely due for a refresh of the
customer-facing apps before long.
If you know of someone who might be both interested and qualified for
either of these positions, give me a shout. Thanks!
