First FPV flight with the quadcopter

I made my first FPV flights today. It is definitely going to take a while to get used to the fisheye perspective. The camera I used is the same keychain one I used for the boat race, I was expecting a bit more vibration since I just zip-tied to the battery. A 2-axis gimbal is definitely in my future.

It records the video inboard and transmits to a 7" monitor on the ground. I'm working on a mount to attach the screen to my transmitter.

I wasn't aware that the keychain cam had a video out. Did you have to modify it or did I miss some features last time I looked at it?

It came with a USB plug which is wired for video out and power in.

It hit hard enough to embed two of the skids about 1" in the ground. There was surprisingly little damage. The only thing that broke was one of the motor mounts and even it is still together enough to fly. The entire frame kit is only $25 so I bought 2 to make sure I have plenty of spare parts.
