My personal feeling is that this is just a version 1 hackerspace. We'll
finally have a place that we can work on collectively and which members can
get access to 24/7. We can move our donated equipment in there and start
improving/upgrading what we own. We can also get some discipline around
dues and membership so as we grow we can get a bigger space, better
location, and better tools.
In the meantime, it's equal parts social and resource oriented. I have a
workshop too. I also have a laser, reprap, and CNC machines. I'm
retrofitting the CNC mill and it should be functional soon. I'm happy to
cut/mill/print stuff for members. That's one of the perks of social
organization.
