In case anyone in the group cares about old tools, thought I'd give this a post - it's the new-old bandsaw I brought home last weekend.  It's an Oliver 217, circa about 1935.  Going to do a top-to-bottom restoration, should be fun.

In front of the shop garage door:

It's too big to get inside in one piece, hopefully after pulling the top wheel and housing it'll slide right in.  Well, relatively speaking since it weigs about 1600 lb.

Extra points if you gut it and convert to a plasma cutter.

What a beast of a bandsaw. Do you cut your own dimensional lumber?

Not yet :)

I'm setting this woodshop up for furniture work, so a good bandsaw is essential.  The resaw capabilities are a nice bonus, and will allow a lot more flexibility in rough-cut lumber purchases.
