As a graphic designer, i have seriously tried tons and tons of color
tools- hoping to find one (a FREE one) that is capable of everything i
want- so that it is all rolled up into 1 app, as opposed to having to
install 3 different ones. But hey- you can't always get what you
wa'aant- especially when you want it to be free too- so needless to
say, i haven't. But as far as color-pickers go, of the 20 or so that i
have downloaded, installed, and tried- only a handful remain on my
laptop- and of them, Color Cop is the one i use the most often & like
the best. I seem to be more attached to it than the others.
However, the one thing that keeps me still searching & downloading
others is that it only saves the 8 most recent color selections. I
would absolutely love, love, LOVE to have at least double that- but
don't make the smaller swatches any smaller in order to do so - i have
downloaded other color-pickers that will save 20 or more of your most
recent colors- however, despite allowing more color- i finally
realized what it was- the color swatches were too small- that, in
combination with the fact that the interface was also really small,
and the background was black (as opposed to white)- all made it
difficult to get a real feel for the colors or something.
Anyway- so, having the color selection history go back further so
that we have like 16+ swatches of our most recent colors- this is a
must- in the meanwhile, i make do with running multiple instances of
Color Cop- but it would be so much nicer to have it be all one app.
Thanks!
