Wrong colours?

If I set a colour with Adobe Photoshop Elements and then 'pick' it
with Colorcop, I get a different result. E.g. PSE R=217, G=37, B=37 or
hex d92525 (a red colour), with Colorcop is 252, 32, 32, #fc2020 - a
huge discrepancy. Am I doing something wrong or is it the product?

What OS and color depth settings are you using?

Hi, Thanks for your reply. Windows Vista 32 bit OS and 32 bit colour.
