Hi, John;

I had trouble with disappearing the color picker pen from the screen.
I found out that when I configure my mouse pointer to have tails that follows the main arrow.
Once having reconfigured the mouse pointer in the normal fashion,
the problem of jumoing or disappearing color picker pen has disappeared.

Did you know such behavior??
Anyway, thanls a lot for your help.

Steven

Thanks for the error tip, steven. I did not know that. I only noticed
after emulating your scenario!! I will mention this bug in my page.
Did you email the author about this?

I just tried it with Windows Vista without AERO and the trials appear
as trailing eye-drop pointers. Are you using Windows XP steven or
Vista with AERO switched on?

Hi, John;

I have three computers.
The problem happened at my laptop that is under Windows Vista (I think aero is on).
I have not written to the author as he had no comment on my report earlier.
I will try to add my findings at my own question area as a reply.

Thanks.

So, having AERO "on or off" has something to do with the arrow behavior?

I will try it.

Thanks.

Steven

Hi Steven,

Yes! AERO On affects other programs as well. Easy Screen Recorder for
example (see Fig 3.0 onwards in this next link of mine):

http://www.websitecreationhelp.com/how_to_set_up_easy_screen_recorder.htm

It has a cursor issue as well....when you try and select a custom
region the desktop screen is black (AERO On) but normal desktop screen
when AERO is Off. I noticed when using these programs that if you
switch off AERO the problems disappear.

Regards

John
