Hey Folks, Please find attached the Race results thus far for 2012. We have another weeknight race on 6/6/12 at Aurora. After that, the Learn to Windsurf event is on 6/10 - bring your friends! Hey Folks, For those of us who braved the weather, the reward was early winds out of the NE at 15-20mph and fading drizzle. The winds slowed to 5-10mph over the course of the afternoon, but fun was had by all! As the clouds broke, we enjoyed slices of Elk with cheese and crackers, burgers supplied by Al and Trish.... more »

Hey folks, The report on weather.com and wunderground both have mid 60s and NNE wind (a good direction) at 10-20 or 5-15 respectively ....we'll see! I sailed yesterday at Boyd and found it 90% full with nice grass areas for rigging. The event starts at noon and I'll likely get there around 11 to check out where to set up. If the weather is shaky and the crowds are low, I'll set up at the Mussel Beach lot (the second one to the North after the inlet). If there are more than a few cars, I'll set up at the Willows Beach (the third lot north of the Inlet).... more »

The new wind line at Soda Lake (Bear Creek Lake Park) is now operational. There is no longer a dialup. It is web based. The url is:

Hey Folks, Dr Chuck can't make the race next Tuesday (5/22 /12) at Chatfield and he was going to run the event....... We need a person or two to run the race....It would be optimal if the person volunteering to ru n the race would be at the Coldwater this Saturday and pick up the race marks from me........... more »
