I have been looking around for a good and cheap online backup solution that will work nicely with Linux, but can't seem to find something I like. I do have all my data backed up in a few different places but want to get it backed up online to be extra safe. I have 250+ GB worth of data that I am looking to backup. I really would like to use something like Mozy but they do not support Linux at this point and I can't find anyone who can compete with their services and prices. Does anyone know of another online backup solution that can compete...and works with Linux?
You can always just buy some web hosting space and upload it via ssh.

Along Ringos idea might be your best bet for large amounts of storage. Use S3 as the storage area and their are tons of apps out on the market to use it as a Backup storage device. As well as the API to S3 isn't that bad if you wish to make your own.

We use rsync.net and duplicity to backup our corporate network, for staff workstations we do junglebox, which uses S3 as the storage engine. It's painless and cheap, and they support Windows, Linux, and Mac: http://www.jungledisk.com

Depending on exactly what sort of interface you're after... I'm a photographer and have about 400gb of files that I have synced between several desktops and an online server that I rent. I use unison and rsync via the terminal and have cron jobs set up to accomplish automatic backups/syncing between all machines involved. This seems to work relatively well for my needs.
