Just a friendly reminder that Mayor Jim Gray and the Open Data Team would enjoy you raising a glass with us this Thursday, November 8th at 5:30 p.m. at West Sixth Brewery as we celebrate our Open Data go-live. This is a MAJOR step forward for Lexington and the Bluegrass.
This will be the canvas on which we hope you create many civic-minded apps. It will also be great for our university community as this is data they have long requested to be unleashed from the vault.
Have a pint with us and let's talk about what we can get out for Phase II of the Open Data Initiative.
And then let's plan Hillbilly Hackathon weekend which can include some hacking on not only data but on homebrew as well. That's right, let's combine homebrewing and data. API and IPA. Think about it. :)
