hey all,

So I'm more than a little bit enthusiastic with Erlang. So I wanted to
see if there is any interest in an Erlang presentation?

For those that do not know, Erlang is a high concurrency functional
programming language developed for the telecommunications industry that
has recently gained some favor for it's ability to scale and it's
reliability.

Can we make ball smashing walls with it?  The bar has been set.

Not exactly, but I was thinking a chat server perhaps?

Yes! Several walls, concurrently!

I'm interested!

Several balls, also concurrently?

I'm in, regardless of the balls:wall ratio.

I would be interested. I've done some erlang, but not enough to make a presentation on.

I have a few things that I've written that are now in production, which I'll mention during the presentation. I have written C-node's, NIF's and quite a bit of more generalized erlang code as well, so I hope to be able to give a fairly good layout of the language, hopefully finish it up with everyone able to sling some code.

The big question is when would this be given so I have time to prepare? I'll be starting from scratch.

Also if there are any specific questions or concepts anyone would like addressed, please let me know.
