I was going through my spare equipment closet and came across a few things that I might be useful to someone. The are:

* TrendNet TEW-452BRP 802.11g router/firewall with 4 port 10/100 Ethernet switch (works fine, comes with manuals & setup CD)
* An AGP video card from a PowerMac G4 (already got rid of the Mac)
* An Apple AirPort card from an iBook (probably also works on other Macs of the same vintage, early 2000's)
* 512 MB PC-133 SO-DIMM (used with iBook until I upgraded to more memory)
* TRS-80 dot matrix printer (It still works, but good luck finding ribbons. It is big and heavy and has stepper motors capable of driving its big heavy parts)
* D-Link DI-614+ 802.11b wireless firewall with 4 port 10/100 Ethernet switch (probably works, power supply died)

Any or all are free to a good home.

Bill.

If you leave the switches at the space, I'm sure they'd get used or adopted.

Not to hijack, but I have an old PowerMac 8600 (works fine, with a couple G3 upgrade cards), boxed copies of OS 9, Photoshop, and Illustrator that I no longer have use or space for.  Would this get used if I dropped it off?

Cory - I'd certainly have fun using it some :)

the 512 was the first computer I ever used - ahh, nostalgia

I'm new to Collexion, never been actually.  More familiar with LVL.  Though I live in Lex and may be moving very close to the space soon.

I'm not sure where to drop this off, or what the rules are.  But Interest has been expressed, and I'm happy to see the hardware go to use rather than end up in a dump or sitting on a shelf unused for years to come.

Where/when can I deliver this?

Cory

And if you can't make Wednesday, this Thursday there will be a talk on the Raspberry Pi at the space, also at 7p :)

I work till 7, but can easily make it to the space by 7:15.  Don't want to interrupt or intrude (as I'm not a dues paying member.....yet).  But the Rasp Pi thing sounds really interesting.

Thanks for being so welcoming.  I'll see what other goodies I might be able to donate as well.
