Yes but that is actually absorption cooling (I think)

Sort of reminds me of the Crosley IceBall, developed right up north of us in
Cincinnati:

Crosley was into a LOT of stuff, everything from automotive accessories to
radios to radio transmitters (WLW still has the record for the highest power AM
broadcast band radio station in the US.).
