Greetings one and all.

Looking for the path of least resistance for this endeavor:

Using Virtual Box I have created a LAMP website that I will eventually need to move to AWS.  What is the best way to do this so that I get the server code, apache, mysql, etc. delivered as it exists in virtual box over to AWS for production deployment?

In short, I don't want to rebuild and harden the server and reinstall everything...it would be nice to somehow move this box image there and then bring it up.

Any ideas?

Hugs,
Chad

Google told me this:
http://www.niftiestsoftware.com/2011/09/24/converting-a-virtualbox-vm-to-an-ec2-ami/

Seems legit. Export to a raw disk image, change xen-specific bits,
bundle, upload.
