Collectd/RRDTOOL

Hi all,

I trying to install collectd and rrdtoo, but I can´t. I install RRDTool first (instruction I found on the Internet) and then install collectd. When I compile (. / Configure) the Collected in the list of modules remains RRDTool NO (rrdtool....... no).

I have already installed several times, and I blacked out again ... and nothing ...

Does anyone have any tips please?

What operating system are you trying to install on? It sounds like you're trying to install from source. You'll save yourself a lot of pain and suffering (and time and effort) if you install a binary version of collectd and rrdtool.

Hi luis carlos,

the same happened to me with version 5 of collectd when trying to install into an osx. its a matter of having the librrd-dev installed before compilation but i just dont have much time to dadicate so i'll just wait for a deb package ;)
