Feature Request :: JSR-330 Annotations Support

I'm not sure if this idea is even remotely possible but here it goes ...

It would be quite awesome if by way of leveraging java loader or some other DSL parser we could implement JSR-330 Annotations to configure ColdSpringFramework via Java Config instead of XML Config ...

Q: Could this 'idea', 'feature' actually be accomplished? It would definitely make configuration a hell of a lot cleaner ... [IMHO]

How would that actually look in code?

There is no way to put java annotations on a ColdFusion component.

That being said, there is no reason you couldn't build a similar set of annotations in ColdFusion for Coldspring. CS2's architecture would most definitely support it.

Thanks for the reply ... I'll give this some thought regarding the design concept behind the idea primarily implementing WebApplicationInitializer
