stargazing sessions like sunspot minimum

Hello members

Stargazing should be the main activity of any astronomy club. Due to
various reasons CAC could do this activity only a few times in the
beginning. I do not want to discuss the reasons. A few posts mention
about the sky being clear now and some members seem to be keen on
having stargazing sessions.

I have one suggestion in this regard. There are a few members here in
this club including me having good telescopes. If they live in houses
with open terrace where the sky can be shown to a small group of
members(half a dozen or so) and if they are willing, such persons can
be contacted directly.

In this respect I am willing to show the sky to interested people from
the terrace of my house if they contact me, Mostly I am available on
weekends but even on other days if I am free I will be able spare
time.

Other people having scopes and free time can also do the same.

Only when there are at least about half a dozen people with sustained
interest and participation activites will be useful and entertaining.
