Hi all,
I have been experiencing issues in downloading files from
snapshot.org. The file I want to download is this one :-

http://snapshot.debian.org/archive/debian/20120511T175706Z/pool/main/o/openjdk-6/openjdk-6-jre-headless_6b24-1.11.1-3_amd64.deb

Can anybody download it successfully. Please say yes or no on the
mailing list (if yes, then will connect you privately off-list to take
the file.)

I have been having issues with the snapshot.debian.org. For testing
purposes I tried another file with the same result.

$ wget -c http://snapshot.debian.org/archive/debian/20120516T040426Z/pool/main/0/0ad/0ad-dbg_0%7Er11339-2_amd64.deb

Now the -c flag is usually for continuation but as can be seen at some
point it drops off.

It would be nice if some people tried and shared with their
experiences. It would also be interesting to add some datapoints
alongwith it. Here's mine :-

a. Tool used for download - wget 1.13.4-3
b. Platform :- Debian sid kernel 3.2.0-2
c. Mode of connection :- BSNL ADSL 256 Kbps connectivity.
d. IP :- 59.95.x.x (Optional)
e. Result :- Failure to complete the download.

Looking forward to know.

at bottom :-
Sana, thanx. If couple of more people would try it out, it will be
good to know as well.

I was able to download this file with iceweasel 10.0.3 (opens fine in
archive manager, so I believe it is downloaded correctly)

You have to keep reminding your government that you don't get your
rights from them; you give them permission to rule, only so long as
they follow the rules: laws and constitution.
