Election of the Secretary of the Club for the coming year

Dear all,

     Since I have not received any replies to my previous mail suggesting changes, I believe it is safe to assume that we do not have any objection to the content mentioned previously.

     As you all know, Sarang Karpate (TY Computer) and Shashi Kant Pothula (TY Electrical) are the candidates eligible for, and contesting, the post of the Astronomy Club Secretary. 

In order to ensure that the selection process is fair I suggest we all do this- 

     

     As mentioned in the previous mail, let us adopt the process of secret ballot. I shall supervise the entire process and shall take upon my-selves the responsibility of the election as well as of declaring the results for the same.

     I request all members to vote, by writing the name of the candidate they wish to vote for in a mail in reply to this one, *latest by 11:00 am on May 14, 2013*

     *Please make sure that you reply only to me and not to the entire group*

I urge all members to participate wholeheartedly in the election and cast their votes without any bias.
