What error are you seeing?
I'm not sure if XML validation is an issue, but the line <input
type="hidden" name="tax_rate" value=0875/> looks like it could be an
issue. Firstly, the value should have quotes: value="0875"
Additionally, I don't think that tax rate is correct. Is it supposed
to be 0.875 or 8.75 instead?

Interesting subject this one. I guess law and ethics are two different
things. It just goes to show that the legal system is primarily about
money. But the people who are really out of pocket in these cases are
usually the end users; who won't be poised to sue anyone. This perhaps

whenever the author states explicitly that such distribution and/or charges
for such distribution are not allowed. In fact, many author do not even want
you to host their creations for free or otherwise so they can monitor

but this is surely one way of distribution that the site practices, ain't
it? as it doesn't just present them, but propagates them via download.

what I wrote below to Jason was a direct example of a distribution way, yet
he considers it as legal,too, and a very common one.

So the commercial software is likely being hosted in violation of the
licenses attached to them. I have no way of knowing if they are in
compliance with hte open source software they might be hosting, as the
compliance regiemes on many of them are based on distribution, not
presentation of a 'commercial' version.
