Hang on!
We *I* submitted ours two times. I stopped sending/submitting because I noticed there was an embargo placed on new users to the group. I then wrongly assumed all submissions were placed on an embargo to avoid people `photocopying` each other's submission.
Can the admin's check on this? Otherwise please come to Chicago in 2013. Lucky or no.

I would feel more comfortable affirming that if this discussion was taking place on the main Code4Lib list. Otherwise, I'm fine with C4L2013 in Chicago.

If they are the only host by the deadline, then there seems to be no options BUT having them host it!
I actually kind of like that they were the only host -- because I think it means they can pretty much do WHATEVER they want with the conference next year, cause it's like, if they didn't, there'd be no conference, so do what you want with it! It's not like they fooled anyone into voting for you and then changed the conf on em!
They were the only ones who offered to do the conf, so it was them or no conf, so I think that gives em some freedom to make some changes to previous years -- cause it was those changes, or no conf. Want to make it bigger, want to make it smaller, want to make it entirely different? I might not personally like some things they could hypothetically do, but, hey, I don't have to go, and it's not like if they hadn't done em there would have been the 'usual' conf, there would have been nothing!
