It looks like the conference proposals vote ended successfully. My count of proposal slots on the draft schedule is 22. Looking at the results of the vote...

I think in years past we've let both of the tied proposals in, and adjusted the schedule, but I'm wondering what the plans are for this year. Any thoughts?

Well, I like some of the things that didn't make the cut at all, so I vote for changing the schedule to have even more workshop slots to let them in too!
Just kidding, no I don't. And there's no vote, or rather we just had the vote, already!
I think it's really up to the conf committee (is there a program committee?), whatever works out best. You could have a run-off vote; you could, if you can figure out how, change the schedule to accomodate both; you could also change the schedule to _cut_ both. I think all of those are reasonable and defensible.
