I have asked several times over the past year and have never been
given a definitive answer (though I've always gotten SOME sort of
feedback in a fairly timely manner!). I wish it would get released
soon though! Code completing needs a bunch of features to catch up
with Dreamweaver. I just got subversion to work though so that's
positive seeing as I couldn't do so with Dreamweaver CS5.
The longer it takes the more awesome it will be right? In theory??

Wait. **I** don't want a wysiwyg editor. Please stick to Dreamweaver, and let those of us who want a text editor keep ours :)
Count me as another against adding WYSIWYG capabilities to Coda. All
that will do is add bloat to Coda, and distract Panic from making the
editor the best that it can be.
If you want training wheels for your code, use Dreamweaver, Flux,
Rapidweaver or Mozilla Composer.

isn't coda supposed to be a text editor for people who know how to code, not a wysiwyg for those who don't? - i'd rather see Code Navigator alphebetised first which would actually make it useful - and second i'd like to see Code Navigator as a full height panel in a 3 pane layout which would make it more useful again for those with a widescreen

It would be terrible if I didn't respond to this thread and mention
that not so long ago there was a thread that discussed Coda 2 and
rehashed most of what has been discussed in this, the lastest thread.
(http://groups.google.com/group/coda-users/browse_thread/thread/ 4303d52e0d0e751d/642f5bb5dd88c78e)
And what came out of it? A Google Moderator thread that posted feature
requests with over 600 people contributing over 140 features and
10,000 votes! The most popular feature was HTML 5 support. So, go and
check the thread and vote up your faves and down the not-so-faves.
This is the best way to voice our collective opinion on features to
Panic.
