Whether I choose "Don't Reopen" or "Reopen" I get the standard "Coda Quit unexpectedly. Click reopen to reopen the application..." At which point, I begin the same cycle over again.
I've uninstalled the app and reinstalled it from the app store, I've done everything I can. I love coda, it is my favorite web dev environment, but this is ridiculous. Its totally unusable. Is anyone else having this issue?
I'm still having the same issue. I actually uninstalled coda 2 and deleted all associated files and preferences, then reinstalled it from the app store. After which I was able to use it for approximately 2 hours. When I started it the next day, all was back to the way it was before. Totally unusable. Is anyone else having a similar issue?

Same issue here. Plus, I can't download the coda.2.0.4.zip from Panic's website as the file won't unzip, but that might be an issue with my connection.
Ditto here. Although it's somewhat hit or miss. Yesterday, I restarted Coda three times due to crashes. Amazingly, I had not actually *used* Coda in between those restarts. I started it, turned away to do something on another machine, and looked back a few minutes later to find the application not responding (I find that Coda seems to get angriest when I'm*not * using it; ie: the crashes seem to happen when I take focus away).
I reported this several times during the beta testing of Coda 2, but it never really got resolved. And I never could pinpoint what was wrong. I imagine the folks at Panic had a hard time, too. I run Coda on three other machines, a Mac Pro 1,1 with Snow Leopard, a 2006MBP with Snow Leopard, and a 2009 MBP with Mountain Lion, and Coda 2 never, ever crashes on them. So I can only conclude it's something specific to something on my Mac Pro on Mountain Lion here at the office.
I don't think Panic can reproduce this issue, and so they have no interest in doing anything about it.
I run direct-download Coda in three places: A Mac Pro at the office (Mountain Lion), a Macbook Pro (Mountain Lion) I carry around, and an old Mac Pro 1,1 (Lion) at home. Coda runs flawlessly on the last two. On the Mac Pro at the office, it is a hopeless, relentless, buggy, crashy p.o.s. that costs me as much work as it allows me to complete.
I have yet to discover any direct action that *makes* it crash. Usually, what I find is that it crashes if I stop paying it attention. It can be the foremost window and, if I look away to do something on my Macbook or my iPad, I'll look back to see the spinning beachball of death. If I put another window in front of it to do something, when I go back to Coda, it frequently displays the spinning beachball of death.
As long as I keep working in Coda, I can do whatever I want, pretty much without issue (just as long as I don't pause what I'm doing for too long). Oddly, some days are worse than others, so that's not even consistent.
I'm irritated with Panic about it because, like you guys, I've submitted about a billion crash reports and only heard the chirping of lonely crickets. But, realistically, I understand that this is most likely something going on with the machine or the OS.
I dunno, but it's frustrating. And I'm really close to nuking Coda and going to another editor.

I have same problem, but it didn't start until I got new mbp 15" with Mountain Lion. On my 2011 mbp 13" with Lion, coda never crashed. So for me, it's an issue with mountain lion and coda 2.0.5.
Also, I have MAMP running. Not sure if that has any affect.

Yes, I am also having multiple crashes a day. The number or crashes per day varies, 1-3 times, and I don't necessarily have to be doing anything when it crashes. Submitted crash reports whenever it occurs... Hoping for and update! MBP, mt.lion, 10.8.2.
