 i am ramesh staying near K R pet near, mysore,karnataka. People are using the waste(dry -local name madi) from sugarcane factory for coconut trees and claim extraordinary improvement in nut production.I wanted to know how safe is this waste because it has chemicals. we are practising only organic farming (cow dung,and sheep).Do we need to apply manure every year for the trees and how much is needed per year.can we use only locally available produce or is it a must to add other supplements like potash,etc..how good are green leaves when applied as manure. what is average number of nuts a tree can produce.is there a average liters of water a tree requires/month especially in summers?
