Dear Group Members,
                                 I am a process consultant and have been running my consultancy firm Creative Advisory Services since 2003. We have done many projects in the field of rice processing, grain processing, seed processing and more recently dessicated coconut processing. We are currently doing 4 projects in this segment.We recently commissioned a big project in Brazil.
                                My initial general advise to my clients is that they need to make an extremely careful analysis of the equipment , otherwise they would be straddled with a lifelong performance issue. As many of you are aware, there are only a few companies who offer equipment for drying in the field of dessicated coconut. If any equipment supplier talks of projects it simply means that they source other equipment from vendors and put together a basic machinery line up. The specific performance requirement of the client is never the priority for any equipment supplier.This is an area where we have been able to fulfil a vital need of the client.
                                With this general observation, I would like to convey to all the members of the group that I can refer them to users who would be able to share their individual experience with SPECIFIC equipment so that they avoid any regrets. Should any reference with regard to the work done by us be required, I will be happy to provide references.

To add substance to my post yesterday I have attached two examples of factors that will affect the client who depends entirely on the reliability of equipment suppliers

Of the two photos one shows the quality of fabrication ( this can never be corrected once it leaves the factory ) that a client is straddled with and the other is an instance of galvanised iron being used in areas which should have been of stainless steel.

Sadly few inverstors openly speak out about their bad experiences out of the fear that it would dent the market for their product.

However in my experience European equipment manufacturers do not fall under this category, but they generally do not cater to the DC industry or if they do, their equipment the cost is far too high for Asian investors.
