Dear Members,

Good Day!

I would just like to ask for your assistance if you know a Copra Dryer
Manufacturer or distributor that provides affordable and quality
equipments? If you will ask my location, I am from the Philippines and
it doesn’t matter if it is coming from inside or outside the
Philippines as long as it meets the criteria.

In addition, aside from coconut vinegar and wine, what are other
products that we can derive from a matured coconut water?

Your thoughts are highly appreciated.

Thank You and Best Regards,
Aldrin

Hi Aldrin,

Greetings!

Coco Milk, VCO, Coco Flour, Coco Peats, Coco Coir and etc. are some of the more popular
by-products that you can produce out of the matured coconuts with an age from 9 to 12
months old.

In the Philippines, you can have a good Copra Dryer fabricated by a local company rather
than buying it from a foreign company. You can have it custom built depending on your
requirements.

Currently, we are in the process of building an "Integrated Coconut Processing Plant"
targeting Zero Waste operation in Western Mindanao, involving the farmers cooperatives
to secure the supply-chain. We are planning to replicate this plant on various sites and
locations in Visayas and Mindanao, with end-in-view of helping alleviate the plight and
living conditions of the coconut farmers in these areas.

Our role here is to serve as conduits and consultants between farmers cooperatives, local,
international investors and local  authorities (PCA & local government). We prepare all the
necessary documents, feasibility studies, systems & plant designs and plans, civil and
architectural plans, waste water treatment facility plan, power plant, ECC-IES and etc.

We are a team of experienced management, legal, finance, industrial designing engineers,
civil engineers, architects and actuarial engineers with an average experience of 20 years
in the field of manufacturing plant designs, engineering and construction.

Hi Virg,

Good Day!

Thanks for the reply you sent 2 months ago, I appreciate it. In connection with this, I would like to ask if you know anyone who fabricates copra dryers here in the country? We don’t have much capitalization to start with and it might help us a lot to try this out and made by our kababayans.

Regards,
Aldrin

Hi Aldrin,

Nice to hear from you again. We are willing to help you design and fabricate your Copra Dryer
within your budget. But, we need first to know the volume of your proposed daily production
output, type of usage and the location where you're planning to set-up your Copra Dryer.

You can contact me at the given telephone number.

Hi Vir,

Thanks for the immediate response. I will call you this Friday or Saturday. To answer your questions ahead of time, here are the details:

1. 3-5 Tons per day output of copra
2. This will be used to supply copra for further processing as edible/cooking oil
3. Location will be in General Santos City, South Cotabato

We would  prefer biomass to be used as the source of energy than electricity though.

Questions I have so far that you can answer to me directly, ahead of time, or during our conversation:

1. Aside from copra, what are other other crops that can be used for this dryer?
2. Since we want clean copra output, will this be direct or indirect drying? Also, after the process, will the copra turn dark or light?

Regards,
Aldrin
