Last year, when Ali Ozer was introducing a new version of KVO that had a
context pointer in the deregistration, I was the one slowly clapping in the
audience. I plan now for 2015 when I can start using 10.7-only APIs.

But seriously, there were some sessions in which people just clapped
for no reason (like the introduction of dongles). I definitely think
that a lot of people watch these sessions passively - sleeping,
daydreaming about parties, doing email & twitter, or simply not
listening. Some of the smaller sessions were particularly low energy,
which is a shame because the engineers that present are often the ones
who architected or built the feature.
