Topic:
Introduction to iPhone Development - From Objective-C to the App
Store.

Abstract

With 100,000 applications available from the iTunes app store and more
than 2 billion downloads the iPhone has garnered the financial support
from approximately 21 million users across the globe. Development for
the iPhone is mostly uncharted territory for developers who have not
heard of words such as Cocoa and Xcode or at least own an Apple
computer. To gain insight to this mobile phenomenon, an introduction
to iPhone development and a like for like comparison to Windows Mobile
development will be presented. Furthermore comparisons from Objective-
C to C# will be illustrated. Finally, some insight to the iTunes app
store will be given for those who wish to become a part of the Apple
financial ecosystem.
