    Adams County:
    --2 imm Harris's Sparrows were reported by Beltz near the parking lot for Lake Ladora at Rocky Mountain Arsenal on February 9.
    --A pair of Barrow's Goldeneyes was reported by Gilbert about 2 blocks south of the parking lot at 78th and Steele on February 10.  They are near a picnic table.
    --A pair of Barrow's Goldeneyes was reported by Shissler south of 88th on February 10.

    Arapahoe Country:
    --An ad Lesser Black-backed Gull was reported by Hudak at Centennial Park on February 9.
    --At Cherry Creek Reservoir, Walbek reported 1 1-st cyc Glaucous Gull, 2 ad Thayer's Gulls, and 1 2-nd cycle Lesser Black-backed Gull on February 9.
     
    Boulder County:
    --The TRUMPETER SWAN reported by Mlodinow at Valmont Reservoir was present
    as of February 1 but not seen on February 4.
    --A TUNDRA SWAN was found at Valmont on February 4 by the joint club
    fieldtrip and was reported by Kilpatrick on February 9.
    --A GOLDEN-CROWNED SPARROW continues at the North Teller Farm Trailhead off
    Valmont Rd through February 4.
    --An adult basic plumage Red-necked Grebe was found at Valmont on February 4
    by the joint club fieldtrip and was reported by Kilpatrick on February 9.
    --Nunes reported the following gulls at the Valmont Reservoir Complex on February 8: 1 1-st cyc Glaucous x Herring; 2 Glaucous Gulls (1 ad, 1 1-st cyc); 2 Thayer's Gulls
    (2 1-st cyc); 4 Lesser Black-backed Gulls (1 ad, 1 3-rd cyc, 2 1-2 cyc).

    Broomfield County:
    --At Anthem Pond, Walbek reported 1 ad MEW GULL, 2 ad Lesser Black-backed Gulls and several Thayer's Gulls (several ad, 1 1-st cycle) on February 9.  Walbek reported
    that the pale Thayer's Gull seen on February 9 is a possible ICELAND GULL.
    --At Siena Pond on February 9, Walbek reported 1 ad MEW GULL,  2 Thayer's Gulls (1 ad, 1 1-st cyc), and the Glaucous  x Herring Gull (1-st cyc).
    --An ad Thayer's Gull was reported by Matheus at Glasser Reservoir which is north of Holy Family High School.
     
    Chaffee County:
    --On February 6 Moss reports a flock of Barrow's Goldeneye at Sand Lake in
    Salida.
     
    Delta County:
    --On February 5 Thurmon reports 10 Barrow's Goldeneye and 12 White-fronted
    Geese at Confluence Park on the Gunnison River.
     
    Denver County:
    --A male Long-tailed Duck at Duck Lake in City Park continues to be seen
    thru January 31.
     
    Eagle County:
    --On February 6 McConnell had 2 Barrow's Goldeneye on a small open pond near
    MM 6 (Taylor Creek) on the Fryingpan River Road.
     
    Garfield County:
    --On February 6 McConnell reports 55 Barrow's Goldeneye at Coryell Ranch
    near Carbondale.

    Huerfano County:
    --All 3 species of Rosy-Finches have returned to the yard of Beverly Jensen in La Veta on February 11.  Please call her at 719-742-3195 for more information.
     
    Jackson County:
    --On February 1 Craig Dodson reports 2 tan morph White-throated Sparrows and
    Gray-crowned Rosy-Finches at the Moose Visitor Center on the west side of
    Cameron Pass.  On February 8, Hopper reported 1 White-throated Sparrow and 200+ Rosy-Finches includes Gray-crowned and Brown-capped.
     
    Jefferson County:
    --The GOLDEN-CROWNED SPARROW at the Red Rocks Trading Post feeders
    continues to be seen thru February 10 as reported by Henwood.
    --A Greater Roadrunner first reported by Roller on Dinosaur Ridge was seen
    again on February 2 along Alameda Pkwy. on the west side of Dinosaur Ridge
    (aka Dakota hogback). The best times to try for the Roadrunner seem to be on
    mild, sunny, calm afternoons.
    --On February 4, Henwood again found the 2 Harris's Sparrows at Bear Creek
    Lake Park near the boat launch.
    --On February 11, Henwood reported that all 3 species of Rosy-Finches continue to be seen at the feeders at Red Rocks Trading Post. There were about 50 - 60 birds.
     
    Larimer County:
    --On January 28 a TRUMPETER SWAN was on Cattail Pond. It was seen again on
    February 3.
    --Bol reports a GREAT BLACK-BACKED GULL and a possible 2nd year ICELAND GULL at Horseshoe Lake on February 1.
    --Leatherman reported evidence of the YELLOW-BELLIED SAPSUCKER in Grandview Cemetery on February 9.
    --Komar reported the following at Carter Lake on Februrary 9:  4 Glacuous Gulls (1ad, 3 imm), imm Thayer's Gull, 1-2 Lesser Black-backed Gulls, and 1 GLAUCOUS-WINGED GULL (1-st cyc).
     
    Mesa County:
    --Arnold reports a Long-tailed duck was on the Colorado River at the
    Connected Lakes turn-around on February 5.
     
    Otero County:
    --On February 1 Leatherman found a female Northern Cardinal at Timpas SWA
    south of Rocky Ford (accessed on Road Z w of Otero CR 21).
     
    Sedgwick/Logan Counties:
    --On February 5, Kellner reports two Tundra Swans at Red Lion SWA. Jumbo
    Reservoir is mostly open and held three Glaucous Gulls.
     
    Upcoming DFO fieldtrips:
     
    Sunday, February 12 Longmont Area
    Leader: Chris Owens 303-772-6048
    Meet leader at 0800 at Jim Hamm Park. From I-25 take Exit 240. To reach the
    park, go west four miles on CO 119 to Boulder-Weld County Line Road, then north two miles to Jim Hamm Park at 17th Ave. This will be a three-quarter day trip ending about 2 pm so bring lunch and extra water.
