The Trumpeter Swan was not at Cattail Pond today. There were a large
number of Redheads and American Wigeons though.
My sister just moved to Breckenridge, and I was wondering if anyone
could provide some good locations to view the following species in
Summit county (or locations outside Summit county that are still close
to Breckenridge):
Boreal Owl
Evening Grosbeak
American Tree-toed Woodpecker
White-tailed Ptarmigan
I'll be headed up there tomorrow to scout out the six sites listed
here:

But would love a couple more ideas.
Can the rest stop at the top of Vail Pass be worth checking out?
She is only up there for the winter and would love to see these
species if possible.
