Just had a single Bohemian Waxwing in my yard in N Boulder this afternoon. A large mixed flock of Am Robins, C Waxwings, and E Starlings has been foraging juniper, hawthorn, and crabapple trees in the immediate area the last several days. At one point A couple of days ago, I counted 24 Cedar Waxwings. Unfortunately, about 10 minutes after I spotted the B Waxwing, a Sharp-shinned Hawk flew in and dispersed the flock. I'll post if I see it again.
