Location: Denver, CO area (downtown location)

Position Title: Linux Systems Administrator

Position Details:
• Linux server management - install, secure, monitor, manage and
maintain Red Hat Linux servers
• Plan, implement, administer and continually support Linux-based
enterprise network infrastructure
• Technical troubleshooting and problem resolution
• Document systems infrastructure
• Lead and participate in defining, implementing, and supporting best
practices
• Participate in technical leadership on infrastructure tasks

Experience Profile:
• 4+ years Linux (versions 5 and 6) systems administration experience
• Experience building systems automation and monitoring tools and
scripts
• Strong scripting experience with Perl, Bash, Python or similar
• Experience assessing and reporting system performance
• Experience supporting storage area networks (SAN) and VMware
• Experience supporting clusters
• Experience in with tools for mass configuration (Puppet, Chef,
etc.)
• Strong troubleshooting, problem solving, root cause analysis skills
• Experience with 7x24 operations, occasionally providing support in
non-standard hours
• Strong technical documentation skills
• Superior communication skills with consultative capabilities and
customer-orientation
• Stable employment history of direct employment

Helpful/Preferred:
• BS in Computer Science, or applicable engineering subject
• Experience supporting app servers, web servers - WebLogic, or
similar
• Exposure to Oracle database and RAC application server environments
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Visio
• Clustered Linux server support
• Experience supporting enterprise cloud computing
• Certifications in RedHat or VMWare
