Uploading ICD-9 Exclusions

I am sure everyone is working on uploading their application to the portal lately.  I am requesting the support of the group in requesting that CMMI allow applicasnts to upload an attachment, as opposed to manually uploading ICD-9 and DRG exclusions. I have submitted a letter of request, and I have drafted a letter for you to submit as well, should you also wish to attach you exclusions, as opposed to manually enter them.

I am writing, on behalf of the ENTER ORGANIZATION NAME HERE to ask you to make a change to the Bundled Payments for Care Improvement application portal. We are working to implement episodes the Health Care Incentives Improvement Institute, Prometheus program has designed.  The Prometheus model defines the specific MS-DRG and ICD-9 exclusions to be included within the episode designation.  For some models, this is over 700 DRG's and 10,000 ICD-9 Codes. 

In the way the application is currently set up on the online portal, users have to manually enter the ICD-9 Codes and choose DRG's and ranges from a drop down menu.  Although users may enter ranges, this is still extremely time consuming and unnecessarilyy burdensome to project teams around the country.  We request that you change the online portal by Monday June 18th to allow for an attachment of an excel file with the DRG/ICD-9 exclusions and rationale.
