Subject: CMIS Push Functionality
Hello all:

I am working on something for an internal project, and am new to CMIS,
so I wonder if anyone has given any thought to something similar to
what I'm trying to do.

Basically, I know that CMIS has some support (still reading through
the documentation) for repository-to-repository synchronization.  One
CMIS-compliant repository can "push" content to another CMIS-compliant
repository to keep them in synch (use case being that content is
created in the first and needs to be replicated into the second).  Is
there any mechanism to control what gets synchronized between the
repositories; or is it pretty much all or nothing?

I'm wondering if I can build a CMIS compliant service layer on top of
an existing content repository, and have several other content
repositories "push" content to it using CMIS.  And also if there's any
way to control what gets pushed.

Thanks!
David
