Hi Folks,
Thanks to everyone who showed up on Saturday and bought lots of stuff. Many
of you expressed the desire to have a second go at shopping this sale so we
have decided to do it again this Saturday, March 14 from 10 am to 2 pm AND
everything (except for Mrs. Adams original dolls) is 50% off of the prices
last week!
Items include fabric, hundreds of ribbon rolls, boxes of lace, patterns,
doll furniture and miniature stuff. There are also "scrapbooking"
materials, baskets, craft tools, and hundreds more craft books in perfect
condition.

Thank you so much for supporting the Claude Moore Colonial Farm.

Hi Folks,
Spring arrives this Friday and we are getting ready to open the Farm on April 1!  This weekend, Saturday and Sunday, 3/21 & 22 from 10 am to 3 pm we are having our Annual Farm Clean-Up Days.  If you would like to join us sprucing up the Farm, working in the greenhouse, splitting wood, whitewashing the farm house, hauling sticks, picking up trash, etc., please contact
jen...@1771.org.  Individuals, families, groups, students needing community service hours are all welcome and if you work we will even feed you a hotdog lunch!  We are also opening the Estate Sale of craft items from 2 to 4 pm both days and all items are still 50% off.

Our Farm Volunteers are a special group of people who give tirelessly of their time and talent to keep the Claude Moore Colonial Farm running.  So, we have created a new email list called Claude Moore Colonial Farm: Behind the Scenes.  If you are on this list you will receive news about volunteer opportunities, workshops, special sales, free items, livestock news and requests for donations of stuff, etc.  If you would like to be added to this list, you must tell us by sending a message to kca...@1771.org.  We will not automatically add you to the Behind the Scenes list.

Thank you so much for supporting the Claude Moore Colonial Farm - a privately operated National Park.

Managing Director
