Hi Folks,
We've scheduled a half price sale on all estate and donated items at our
GateHouse Shop, open Wednesday through Sunday from 10 am to 5 pm.  This sale
begins on August 26 and goes through the 31st, and includes all items marked
either Dept. 70 or 72 and also includes used books.  If you've never visited
the shop, you're in for a treat.  It's located at the entrance to the Farm
and has gifts, local jams and honey, toys, jewelry and other items
reflecting the Farm's programs.  However, only the donated items are
included in this sale and no other discounts apply.
We also have another Book Sale coming up on September 11 and 12 and sometime
this fall we are planning a sale of Vintage Clothing, accessories and linens
plus an incredible estate book collection on fashion, jewelry, textiles and
gemology.  So if you have something you would like to donate that fits into
this upcoming sale, let us know right away.
On the 18th Century Farm, there will be a Tobacco Harvest on August 29, and
Spinning & Dyeing on September 19.  More information on these events can be
found on www.1771.org.
Thanks to all of you who donate, buy, visit and support us.  We couldn't
manage without you.
Anna Eberly,
Managing Director
