Hi Folks,
We have scheduled the second Estate Sale for Saturday, March 7 from 10 am to
5 pm.  Attendance at the last one was spectacular and everyone was so nice
that we have high hopes for this one as well.  We have cleaned out most of
the second house and we have tables full of fabric, hundreds of ribbon
rolls, boxes of lace, more doll furniture and miniature stuff.  There are
also "scrapbooking" materials, craft tools, and hundreds more craft books in
perfect condition. Prices are also much lower than the craft stores, even
when they have sales!
There has been so much interest in the lady who owned these things that we
have put together a display with her photograph, an article from the
Washington Post (1989) and other information.  We will also offer for sale
her miniature dolls which are smaller than a dime.
Then we can get back to the books!
Thank you so much for supporting the Claude Moore Colonial Farm with your
patronage of our sales.
Anna Eberly
Managing Director

This sale is located at the end of Colonial Farm Road next to the CIA and
near the junction with Rt. 123 and Rt. 193.  Please visit our website
www.1771.org or call 703-442-7557 for directions.  We accept only cash and
checks for these sales and children must stay with their parent at all
times.
