Hi Folks,
Don't forget the Farm's Oktoberfest Fundraiser coming up on Friday night,
October 2 from 7 to 10 pm.  We're going to have a lot of fun for a good
cause so we hope you can join us.  The menu is grilled brats and chicken,
mixed vegetables, roasted potatoes, sauerkraut and German potato salad with
warm apple cobbler and ice cream for dessert.  Beverages are included and
there will be a cash bar of beer and wine at $3 each.  We have a wonderful
group of musicians who are going to be playing traditional Oktoberfest music
and there is space to dance.  There will be a silent auction of some fairly
odd things that have been donated to the Farm and we can take credit cards
as well as cash and checks.  We'll be using our new clear sides in the
expanded Pavilion with the great stone fireplace so we should be very
comfortable.  Some folks have asked whether children are welcome and the
answer is, of course.  If you need to call me, my number is 703-475-2421.
You can pay at the door  ($25 each or 6 for $100) but I do need to know if
you're coming so we can plan the food.  Please email or call me by close of
business tomorrow if I haven't heard from you yet.
Thanks so much for supporting the Farm.
Anna Eberly
