Buenos Noches,

As I journey home from a memorable experience of peaceful reunions in California, I want to share happy news that I had a wonderful visit yesterday with Micah's sister Suzy.

Through many tears and laughter, we were able to truly see the beauty of Micah's message for the Raramuri families, and the peaceful voice he brought into our hearts.

Scott Leese and his loving family opened their hearts and home to us, with kindness and generosity.

For the first time, I was able to share with Suzy, video footage of this year's CCUM race. I gave her a beautiful race poster, and the kind tribute Michael Sandrock wrote in June's issue of Runner's World, honoring her brother.

She presented to me SO many cherished photos of Micah throughout his years, as a gentle baby, Cub Scout, first Communion celebration, patio
side with True Dog, private letters, family holidays, articles from Boulder. He was in team Mountain Men, as an official BUM. (Boulder Ultra Marathoner). I gently weeped as Suzy gave me a boxing, prize winning ribbon. February, 1972, 2nd Round TKO, Police Athletic League champion!

Thank you for continuing to share the peaceful message of hope and love for the Raramuri families.

Micah's peaceful warrior spirit will soon find his way home.

La Mariposa Encantadora and Perrito Fantasma

Dear Maria and Perrito lindo!

I'm glad to hear your news. I'm sure there are a lot of things you are going to find out about our beloved Micah.
How is Guadajuko doing? Is he feeling better?

Peace be with you! :)

Greetings from Chile

Cecilia.

Gracias, Amigo

I will begin compiling, scanning, permanently recording Micah's beautiful memories. Suzy stated that of all their siblings, Micah was always the most peaceful, serene, spiritual child.

So, the family was surprised that he began boxing. Their Dad Stan understood. It was about discipline, fitness, another artistic, form of self expression .

Guadajuko and I miss everything about him.

Love, Maria Luisa

Hola!

Guadajuko's left paw has healed completely. And, after struggling with daily doses of ear drops, his infection has completely gone away!  We are running 5 days this week, back to 6 next week. Saturday, we're meeting my amzing team of "CHICKS AND DICKS", Team Granada Flyers, for a fun, 20-Miler. We need to be "race/party/ and dance ready", for Luis Escobar's, Born to Run Ultra Marathon in Los Olivos, CA on May 19th.

Sunday morning, many runners, walkers, and hikers from Tucson, California, and the Valley of the Sun, will celebrate the beauty of Micah's message at the Gateway Trail Head of the Sonoran McDowell Mountain Preserve in Scottsdale. Everyone is so excited to play and dance with The Ghost Dog!

Guadajuko's favorite toy is now a Sock Monkey. He's chewed most of the stuffing out of it. We have become his permanent cuddle buddies.

May beauty continue to bless our spirits as one.

La Mariposa Apache and El Perrito..... SO SPOILED, and forever loved
