Web Services in Cloud - Thesis topic

Hi Guys,

I am a Master's Candidate from University of Windsor and I intend on
doing my thesis in the field of Cloud Computing. The sub-area that i
have chosen in clouds is WEB SERVICES. Could someone please point me
to some research issues (and/or some work already done in this field)
regarding web services/ WSRF-S etc. Also could someone point to
literature that speaks about taxonomy/classification of webs services
as I am unable to find any such paper. Moreover, I also have an
interest in the intersection of web services and HIS(health
information systems) deployed using clouds. Could someone suggest some
potential topics or guide to relevant information.

Zahid,

What you may want to do is, do some research into WS and Grid that folks
have worked on since Y2002 atleast I know of. You may want to go to globus,
GGF, OGF and many other Grid centric sites and also many university websites
research WS oriented papers. I know that few years back there was major push
for the convergence of WS with Grid. In addition, you may also want to look
at application of WS enahanced Grid applications in Healthcare industry. You
need to visit many Grid and University sites.
