I'm sure you will get lots of arguments on several of these (like from proponents of "Private" clouds, where the resources are still internal.)

I still like to consider "virtualization" more broadly, and not dependent solely on hypervisor technologies.  The case could be made that any time compute resources are abstracted from a known physical device, this could be considered "virtualization."  That would include grids and P2P where the end user is not aware of the location or type of the  resources being utilized.
