These are very broad patents, likely to affect many cloud-storage
providers - especially since a victory will probably enable/encourage
Mr. Prust to file more such cases (he already has one in progress vs.
Apple). IMO we really need people to band together to find prior are,
file amicus briefs, all that kind of stuff.

There are probably better summaries somewhere, but in general I've been
a bit surprised by how little attention is being given to these cases.

I *hope* the lack of response arises because everybody is considering
these to be hopeless obvious patent troll cases.

A quick scan of the first you mention, '968 -- also forwarded to me by
Jeff (thanks!) -- would, under any reasonably competent defense and in
any reasonably competent court, produce the flood of prior art you
alluded to.

Unfortunately, not all defenses and courts are competent.

So what the sense is for enabling a better computing resources delivery but support business?
This is probably the space for start-ups and new offering to turn this framework into added value, not for just for the sake of technology, but moving ahead in the Value Chain.
In the meantime, something that should be interesting for me and I'd really appreciate the comunity of this forum guidance to get, is related to a Maturity Model which may involve/include CC on it. Any tip, I appreciate it in advance.
