I'm really impressed with the Eclipse plugin for Soy by Vincent
Simonet:

http://www.normalesup.org/~simonet/soft/index.en.html

Syntax highlighting, outline view, syntax checking - it also handles
syntax highlighting for embedded HTML.

I bring this up only because my initial Google search for an Eclipse
plugin looked pretty discouraging and scattered. Also, my first
attempt to directly install Vincent's plugin failed. You really do
need to follow the instructions here exactly:

http://www.normalesup.org/~simonet/soft/ow/eclipse-closure-templates.en.html

That means first install the Xtext plugin, then install the Soy
plugin.

I had some problems with custom defined functions being flagged for
syntax. I filed a bug report on the GitHub page (https://github.com/
vtst/ow) and found the author very responsive. Turns out there's a
nice fix for this:
