Maven?

That would be great!

I don't know how the Closure Tools project is organised, but e.g. the
Closure Compiler itself is already in Maven:

Really hope to see the Closure Templates in Maven as well soon. I'm
working on integrating Closure Templats with the popular Spring
framework, but I'm putting it on hold until it's available in Maven;
reason is that nobody will use the integration otherwise.

It would be great if:

1. The closure templates stuff could make it into the official repo (and maintained) by the official template guys. This should just be a case of adding a pom.xml to the current gct codebase and getting a sonatype account setup to deploy it to the main repo (https://docs.sonatype.org/display/Repository/Sonatype+OSS+Maven+Repository+Usage+Guide).

2. Rather than create a new project for integrating with Spring, you could help Tom maintain his project by submitting patches, etc

Hi Dan,

At the moment I'm just evaluating the Spring integration (including
adding functionality to mimic taglibs).
If this evaluation works out well I will propose anyway to bring this
under the embralla of the Spring Extensions project.... we will see
how this will evolve...
