So it seems that one of the most productive learning experiences for
google closure at this stage (Feb 2010) is reading sources directly.
That's a lot of reading! The nice part is that the code is documented
quite thoroughly.
Could you suggest some reasonable order in which a newcomer might
consider looking into the various topics?
Of course it all depends on the goal, but there must be some basics
and concepts that must be understood first.

Have you looked at the docs on Google Code? They certainly don't cover
all the various packages in Closure, but they outline the basic
concepts and tools you need to get started:

The book is only partially written but it will give you good some
great background information that isn't in the documentation.

Make sure to take a look at the "intro to controls" and the "intro to
