Below is the feature list for jark 0.5.0, most of which we are already
working on.

1) Upgrade to new nREPL protocol
* use OCaml bitstring library (http://code.google.com/p/bitstring/) for decoding

2) Windows support (client)
* Use lispx (http://lispx-proxy.sourceforge.net/) to launch the server
on windows ?
* Fix default paths
* Fix REPL on windows

3) New REPL commands
* /cdt  (http://georgejahad.com/clojure/cdt.html)
* /inspect <var> (mycroft on the REPL)

4) Multi-line support in the REPL
* Implement a sexp parser (or integrate
http://hg.ocaml.info/release/sexplib/raw-file/release-2.8.7/README.txt)

5) Basic security
* Cookie based authentication. Something like:

    jark --cookie <secret> server start
    jark --cookie <secret> PLUGIN COMMAND *ARGS
    jark --cookie <secret> repl

6) Plugins (server-side)

Currently we have the following plugins: cp (classpath), ns(namespace
utils), vm(JVM monitoring/Management)
New plugins:

* lein - to run leiningen tasks interactively

7) Test suite and client optimizations

8) Proof-of-concept VimClojure using jark instead of nailgun
