Moderating "Pending Review members" for clojure-dev

Hello,

I'm new in the process of moderating clojure-dev, and would not like to do anything wrong, so ... the question:

I see that ~ 10 people are awaiting moderation.

The only reliable bit of information to moderate is the email address, not the content of the email which could say whatever about the real identity of the person.

So I'd like to be able to match the Email against a list of emails of members, but currently what I have here is just a list of names/jira logins.


What is your process to accept the request? How do you match the declared name in the body of the email with the email?

The issue (right now) is correlating those people with the list of
contributors at http://clojure.org/contributing, which isn't easy
given the information you have.

I am going to work on making the CA process better this Friday. Stay tuned.
