Hello guys,

I think that Clipperz CE is very interesting and i'm willing to use
it.

I'm using Ubuntu 10.04.

I've successfully cloned the git source code and build it. Then i've
installed Apache 2.2.14 and successfully served the Clipperz CE page.
I've created a database in MySQL for clipperz and a user too. I've
edited the configuration.php page to connect to the database. Then i
did the setup.php POG setup and it did with no problems.

When i go to the page and try to create a new user at Clipperz CE, it
returns me a Request failed error. I have searched for this problem
but i can't figure it out. I thought that the problem was in writting
to the database and i've changed the user to root but i get the same
error.

I'm using firefox with absolutely no extensions and i think that
Apache 2.2.14 already has the BCMath module in it.
I did also not installed the base64 function in the POG setup.

I hope someone has got a clue what about i have to do.
Thanks.

Hello,

does any record get written to the DB in the "user" table?

If user records are created, than you may miss the BigInt library in
PHP (I do not remember the right name by heart, sorry).
Another problem that has been reported, is when PHP logs its error
right into the response, as this screws up the parsing of the data by
Clipperz JavaScript code.

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Giulio Cesare
